everyone was running around gettin ready to move out i was at the front when rider came up looking ready for the fight

i hadnt told him that he had to stay behind hell i didnt want to

"ready love" he asked his voice held a small chance that i would stay behind

"yah but rider since im the alpha that makes you my luna which means you have to stay with the pack in case anythin should happen to me" i told him i kept my voice calm so not to trigger his wolf

"what no im not letting you go alone"

"what no i am not staying here plenty of couples fight side by side" he exclamed

"yes but alpha couples are diffrent my mom is a great fighter but if somethin happened to both my parents durin a fight then the pack would be in caosh the luna of the pack always stays behind i know that you think that as the male you should fight and i stay but its diffrent but our pack needs you here you have to protect the home front you have to protect the women and our next generation of fighters" i told him stroking his bisept

"i cant just sit here wondering if your hurt or not"

"you wont just be sitting here you have to make sure patrol is tight and the enemy doesnt get here and if they do you have to kill them dont let them reach the none fighters you also have to keep them calm if they start to freak out they give our location away" i told him

he still didnt look happy about this and i found it very entertaining to watch

"you will make a great luna rider" rico said walking past us with lilly

rider growled at him

"thats going to take some getting use to" he groaned

"but you will and they are very lucky to have you as there luna they know you will do anything to protect them" i pured flicking my touge out licking his ear lobe

" i love you so much" i trailed kisses down his neck stopping on my mark pecking it one more time i moved away

"ill be back soon i love you and watch out for our pack" i gave him a soft smile

"fine but you have to keep your link open and come back to me un-harmed i dont even want a scratch on you got it" he told me in a stern voice

"yes daddy" i whinned like a little kid

"trust me im not your daddy because if i was you would comitting incest" he smirked at me

"oh shut up rider" i said slapping his chest

"alpha its time to leave"

"im coming" i called back to one of the fighters

he leaned down and crushed his lips onto mine he put all his love and passion into the kiss i was left breathless

when we finished we didnt say a word just smiled and walked away taking the lead with rico and my dad

watching my hunter go off to war and me not with her was the hardest thing i have ever done my wolf and i wanted to chase after her and make sure no harm came to our mate i didnt trust anyone to keep her safe but i knew that our pack would k do anything to keep there alpha safe i would just have to trust in my pack no our pack to keep her safe
