if you say that the sun brings

all the happiness in the world,

you have never danced in the rain.

you have never felt the raindrops sliding off your skin,

never splashed in the puddles or

twirled beneath the thunderclouds.

you have never experienced the joy of washing away

your hurt,

your anger,

your regrets,

or the relief of being unburdened of all

your doubts,

your worries,

your responsibilities.

you have never known the happiness
