It was the year 3000. The population then was 10 billion.
There were too many of us. And they wanted to get rid of bunch of us so they threw toxic waste into the waters we drank from.
We lost about 40% of the population in a few weeks. China and Japan suffered the most because of population.
Some people would rise and try to wipe out the government for what they were trying to do. After months we won and took off to space...because of our inhabitable earth.
