   It was snowing.

A shadow moved through the forest, blending in with the dark trees. The wind was howling, and carrying a voice on its back. The cry of a small child.

The shadow drew closer to the sound. Human children did not usually wander outside this late at night, especially during the cold and unforgiving winter.

"Waaaaaah!"

The child released another cry. If they did not find warmth soon, they would surely freeze to death.

The shadow passing through the trees arrived at the source of the crying. Seeing how fragile this creature was, and noticing that there were no others of its kind nearby, he decided to take care of it and raise them as his own.

That was the fateful encounter of a human and the wolf, Far. And this is their story.
