"Yes, it is", I said, "Have we met before?"
"Well, no. But I think I've heard of you before....." he said.
"Umm ok?
"What is that thing in your backpack?" he asked as he pointed towards the thing I found this morning.
"This thing?" I said "Well I'm not really sure but I found it earlier and I thought it looked important so I picked it up, Why?, Do you know what it is?"
"I'm not really sure myself but it just looked familiar. I can't really remember why or anything though." he said.
"Oh. Ok."
"Alright! Stop your talking everyone! It's time for class." my teacher, Mrs. Johannes said. " I'm pretty sure you all have noticed by now that we have a new student. Would you mind introducing yourself?"
"Sure", he said "My name is Zachary Thompson and umm.. nice to meet you all?"
This guy doesnt really seem very abnormal, and he seems nice, but there's something about him....... Not in a bad way or anything just, you know, a little strange....
"Stop talking already!!!! Class is starting now!" Mrs Johannes yelled. This Zachary kid then proceeded to answer every question Mrs johannes asked, even though he wasn't called on, but somehow all of his answers were correct. The other people in my class looked at him in awe. Even the smartest kid in the class was amazed by him.
The rest of class went on the same way. He was somehow put in all of the same classes as me so the rest of the day was pretty much like that too.
School was over. I could finally go home!! But then I felt a tap on my shoulder.
"Hey there Carina." I turned around and saw that blue haired boy named Zachary standing there.
"What do you want" I said.
"I think I might have figured out what that peice of metal you found this morning is." he said.
"What is it?"
"Come with me"
We started walking together. And walking and walking, it was pretty quiet for a while and it was getting kind of uncomfortable.....
"So, where are we going?" I asked.
"My secret hideout." he replied.
"Oh god...." I said "so what's in this secret hideout"
"I can't say it out in public someone might hear me" he said.
"Umm ok....?" I said, "But I think I should go now.... there are things I need to do."
"But it's literally right there!" he said as he pointed to what i assume is his house.
"I think I should go...., bye!" I said. I started to run back to my house, and then the little machine thing started beeping. I froze and then opened up my backpack to see the machine thing blinking red and beeping. At this point I was scared, very scared, almost frightened.
"Wait! Wait! Please listen to me! This is very important" I heard Zachary behind me. "The truth is that I am an alien and that is a crucial part of the machine we use to communicate with with our home planet!"
"What?" I started giggling, "I mean I thought you were kind of strange at first but I didn't think you were strange enough to think you were an alien"
"No but it's true!!" He continued to try to convince me. "There is something very important going on right now and I need to contact them!! Please come with me."
"Why can't you just take it and go?" I asked
"That type of metal cannot be touched by my kind. It is poisonous to us." He said."So I need you to carry it".
"Why did you even use this type of metal if it's poisonous? I asked
"That's not important now we need to go!!!"
I'm not really even sure what's going on at this point, and why I'm going with him but it kind of feels like I have to for some reason. I think......
