Backstage
"Jade" I heard a little sweet voice say from a far
"Carter" I said as I ran towards where she was
"Hi baby" I said as I picked her up and twirled her around
"Hi" she said with a laugh
"Surprise" Steph said as she walked over to us
"Thank you ms McMahon" I said as I gave her a hug
"Jade you can call Steph , everyone else does and I'm glad to see a smile on your face , your debuting soon right" Steph said as she smiled at me
"Yes I am , um I just don't know where carter will be" I said as I poked carters cheek
"You silly" carter said as she poked me back
"Ouch" I said jokingly as carter let out a scream
"Oh baby I'm sorry I was joking you didn't hurt me I'm sorry" I said as I bounced her up and down
"Sorry Steph" I said as Steph looked at me with a worried look as I tried to calm carter
"It's okay Jade , do you think candy might calm her down" Steph said as she pulled out a lolly pop
"Yes , thank you so much" I said as she opened the lolly pop and passed it to me
"Baby do you want a lolly pop" I said as I waved it in her face
"Yes" carter whispered as she looked at me
"No more crying and I'll give you your lolly okay" I said as she wiped her tears
"I stop crying , can I wolly pop now please" carter said as she reached for the lolly pop
"Say thank you to Steph and then I'll let you have it" I said as she turned her head to Steph
"Thank you Steph" carter said as she leant over and kissed stephs cheek
"Your welcome sweetie" Steph said as I gave carter the lolly pop
"I really appreciate that Steph , thank you" I said as I gave her a side hug
"No worries at all , I know life hasn't been easy for you Jade but I promise you now that your here we will do everything to make sure that you and carter feel safe and welcomed and I promise you Carter will always be with me in the guerrilla while you wrestle or do a segment" Steph said as she grabbed my hand
"Your dad will be so proud of you and for taking carter under your wing" Steph whispered as she played with carters hair
"Thank you" i said softly as carter started to pull on my hair
"I better get her to the locker room for a little nap , I'll met you at the guerrilla" I asked Steph as I pried carters hands off my hair
"Yep and I'll get someone to come grab you" Steph said as she started to walk away
"Carter please stop , your hurting me" I said as she grabbed my hair and started pulling it
"No I wike your hair" carter said as I opened the locker room door
"Carter please , you need to have nap for me please" I said as I put her down
"No I don't want a nap" carter said as she threw her lolly pop on the ground and started screaming
"Carter please" I said as I picked her up
"I'll put frozen on" I said as I turned the tv on
"Okay" I said as I turned frozen on
"Please just lay down so Jade can fix your dinner" I said as I laid her on the couch that was provided
"Sausage and mash" carter said as I walked over to the fridge
"Of course" I said as I pulled out the container and put it on a plate and heated it up
*knock knock*
"It's opened" I shouted as the door opened
"Hi are you Jade" a tall man said as he walked in
"Yes that's me" I said as I grabbed carters food from the microwave
"I'm Joe , my ring name is Roman , is she yours" Joe asked as I picked up carter and brought her to the top
"She's my cousin" I said as I sat carter on my knee
"Jade why is there a strange man in my room" carter asked as I put a bib on her
"Sorry , hunter sent me here because we're in a storyline together and he wants me to get to know you because we will be traveling together" Joe said as he smiled at carter and I
"Carter say AHHH" I said as I feed her
"Your great with her" Joe said as he stood at the door as I finished feeding carter
"Thank you" I said as I put carter on the ground
"How old is she" Joe asked
"7 turning 8" I said with a smile
"Can I ask why do you baby her" joe asked
"She has severe autism and her family didn't to help for I adopted her well o have full custody of her" I said as I press play on the dvd play
"Well it was nice talking to you , I'll see you out at the ring" Joe said as he opened the door
"Bye" carter said as he walked out
