Firestone [Baron Corbin + OC] {REQUESTED}

This was requested by kaylasilverfox! :)

I was writing the match, and I noticed that I accidentally switched to 3rd person POV, so I just went with it. xD And of the three Superstars you suggested as the love interest, I chose Baron Corbin, because I've only seen 3-4 episodes of NXT, and he seemed like the most fun to write about!

Kayla's POV

"Kayla, may I speak with you for a minute?"

I looked at William Regal, who had just approached me. I was backstage, watching tonight's NXT taping. I didn't have a match, so I was just hanging around by myself, since Bayley and Carmella were currently in the ring.

"Of course," I replied, standing up. I followed him to his office.

When we arrived, my eyes immediately went to Baron Corbin, who was sitting in a chair. I was confused, but I took the vacant chair next to his. William went and sat at his desk.

"We've come up with an idea," He said. "And it involves the two of you."

The Next Week:

3rd Person POV

"The following match is scheduled for one fall! Making his way to the ring, from Niagara Falls, Ontario, Canada: Tye Dillinger!"

Tye's music hit, and he made his way to the ring.

"Tye Dillinger is set to face Baron Corbin here tonight," Tom Phillips said.

"Corbin's been on a bit of a losing streak these past few weeks," Corey Graves pointed out. Both men stopped talking when his music hit.

"And his opponent, being accompanied to the ring by Bella McCall, from Kansas City: Baron Corbin!"

Baron and Bella made their way to the ring. He got into the ring, while she stayed out of it, standing outside the ring.

"That's Bella McCall!" Tom exclaimed.

"What is she doing out here?" Corey asked. "Why is she with Corbin?"

Tye Dillinger and Baron Corbin stood in the ring, and the bell rang.

The match went back and forth. At one point, Corbin pinned Tye, but he put his foot on the rope, so the ref had to stop the count. Corbin stood up and began yelling at the ref. Tye stayed where he was, his foot still on the rope.

Bella approached Tye, who didn't notice her. He brought his foot off the rope, so she grabbed it and pulled him out of the ring. She quickly walked away, and once Corbin noticed, he stopped yelling.

"What does Bella think she's doing?" Corey asked, as she walked to the other side of the ring, near the commentary table. She was watching the match.

"She's helping Baron Corbin," Tom replied. "Well, now we know why she's out here."

Both men were now back in the ring, and Baron Corbin had the upper hand. He hit Tye Dillinger with his finisher.

"Corbin with the End of Days!"

He went for the pin.

"1...2...3!"

"The winner of this match: Baron Corbin!"

"Corbin has ended his losing streak by defeating Tye Dillinger," Tom said, watching as Bella climbed into the ring. "And now he has a valet by the name of Bella McCall."

Bella raised his hand in the air, and the crowd cheered/booed (look up if he's a face or a heel). When she brought his hand down, they both looked at each other, and they began kissing.

"I'd say Bella's more than just a valet," Corey pointed out.

The crowd booed the two, and once they finished, they exited the ring, and held hands on the way backstage.

Kayla's POV

I...I just kissed Baron Corbin.

When William Regal told me that we'd be in a romantic angle together, I was a little hesitant. I barely knew him, so I thought it would be weird. We'd only spoken once or twice.

Apparently, since he was on a losing streak, they figured they'd give him a manager/girlfriend, who would help him during his matches. That manager/girlfriend was me.

I still felt weird about all of this, until I got in the ring after he won. He's much taller than me, so I ended up raising his arm instead of his hand.

And then we kissed.

It was absolutely amazing. My whole body felt numb, and I felt something within me ignite, like a flame. I felt it throughout my whole body, beginning with my lips, and ending at my toes.

I've had boyfriends before, and Baron's not even my boyfriend, but no one's ever kissed me like that. Like I ignited something in him, too.

I wasn't going to tell him, though. Like I said, I barely knew him, and it would be weird. It was just a storyline.

When we made it backstage, he immediately walked away. I was left alone with my thoughts, and after a while, I decided to go look for Bayley or Carmella, or both.

But that's when he came back.

He walked right up to me, but he didn't say a word.

Finally, he asked, "You felt it, too, right?"

I didn't even have to ask what he meant, because the look in his eyes said it all. I silently nodded.

He smirked. "Good. Then it should be fun working with you."

And he walked away.
