“Jake how long has she been out?” Victor yelled
“An hour or so I asked her to smell the chloroform rag. At least it was me and not him.” Jake replied I acted like I was still asleep
“But you chloroformed my sister!!!” Victor yelled
“It’s so we can get her there. You know why Nate was there Darren wants her now. I am surprise she didn’t tell you about the letters”
“Well, why my sister and not yours or even Kayla but why Sage? me and Kayla tried every thing we could think of so Sage did have to go thought this now he thinks he can just wreck that” Victor screamed he was a bit angry.
“Victor, he’s the boss and so is Dave. If she wouldn’t of went to that stupid fair last month we wouldn’t be in this mess” after that they started to talked sports but how did he know I when to a fair? i only met a guy on the Ferris wheel because the Ferris wheel workers thought they were perfected match maker.
*Flash back- day of the fair*
Me and Kayla just got off a ride that made me dizzy. When I get dizzy I go on the Ferris wheel.
“Kayla can we go on the Ferris wheel?”
“No, you go I going to the bathroom then on the ring of fire”
“You're mean, you know I love the ring of fire but I’m so dizzy so I can’t go”
“Well go together later go on the Ferris wheel I met you at the exit when I get off the ring of fire” I nodded and walked to the Ferris wheel. The line wasn’t long it when quickly. On the other side was a guy and the Ferris wheel works put us in a cart together. I sat on one side of the table and he sat on the other side. When we got to the top the ride stopped I guess it broke.
“Hope your not afraid of highs” he chuckled
“Nope, are you?” I asked
“No, the name’s Darren by the way. What’s yours?” he put his hand out
“Sage” I put my hand out to shake his
“So Darren I looks like were going to be up here for a while hope you didn’t have plans”
“Nope, you have plans?”
“Yeah, to not be dizzy then go on the ring of fire”
“You ride the Ferris wheel to not be dizzy?”
“Yup, the nice slow movement helps my head”
“Same here, I do the same thing, I just got off the thing like the witches wheel at cedar Pointe”
“that’s a good ride but it give me one heck of headache” he nodded
Kayla's ring tone came on i picked up my phone.
“Hey, Kayla what’s up”
“Where are you?”
“On the Ferris wheel, Why”
“The Ferris wheel broke, I feel bad for the poor couple on the top” I hung my head out of the cart and looked for Kayla .
“Where not a couple I don’t even know this guy the Ferris wheel works were playing match maker”
“Sorry girl, is he cute at least?”
“Kayla, I wish you could see my face, like I going to answer that”
“Okay then have fun”
“Okay, bye” I hung up and returned to my seat
“Sorry for that Kayla can be quit annoying”
