I was only five years old. Five. And yet here I was hiding. Hiding from what you ask? Shae. Shae my best friend. Shae was searching for me. But I knew she would never find me. Never. Shae doesn't look here. Never. Shae always knows where I hide. But she never looks here. Never. She doesn't look her because she watches other people avoid this place. She watches and she learns. But I don't. I watch people avoid this place. I watch but I don't learn. 'Come on Shae.' I thought. 'It doesn't take you this long to find me like usual.' Shae was on the other side of the river. Staring at where I usually hide. "Found you." Shae said.
"Took you long enough." I said back. "What took you so long?"
"The cliff has been said its haunted." Shae said in almost a whisper.
"Then we prove them wrong and meet there everyday." I said with a little bit of force in my young voice.
"Are you sure about this?" Shae asked.
"Of course I am." I reply.
