Darkness descends.

I'm left here alone.

My heart keeps on thrumming,

Louder and louder, does it go.

My head is pounding,

Waiting for the chance to kill.

Next thing I know,

I'm being lulled against my will.

No!

My mind screams inside,

No!

My conscious can do nothing but sigh.

I lose my only leverage,

As I fall deeper in the night.

Slowly,

Ever so slowly,

My mind becomes muddled,

and visions pass my eyes.

As I lay there,

Defenseless against the night.
