chapter 20

i opened my eyes to the chirp of birds i looked over and found Jeff sound asleep beside me. i smiled and got up pulling on a pair of shorts and a t-shirt before heading downstairs to the kitchen i pulled down a box of pancake mix. i cooked each pancake and put them on a plate i herd footsteps on the floor and i looked up and saw Jeff yawning as he came up to he and hugged me from behind

" whats cooking good looking"

i scoffed at what he said

" pancakes"

i replied and pulled down the syrup and set it beside the plate i handed Jeff a plate and got my own we filled are plates and walked into the living room. i turned on the news

" their was a mass murder of 2 familys in the Michigan area"

a news reporter said, i looked over at Jeff

" wow you sure outdid yourself"

i said causing him to laugh and i smiled. we finnished and i washed the dishes while Jeff swept and moped the floor

" i'm going out for a while"

he said and i nodded as he kissed my cheek and went out the back door

*JEFF' S POV* ( very rare)

i walked down the sidewalk my hood covering my face so nobody would see me looked for the perfect house to hit. i spotted a yellow home with a white fence i smiled this house was perfect. i grabbed my knife from my pocket and slipped into a open window i looked around. the family had pretty nice stuff haha not for long. i found a woman in the kitchen i walked up to her and stabbed her in the back she gasped out and fell to the floor turning over to look at me. i sat on her stomach to keep her still as i repeatedly plunged my knife into her chest flinging blood everywhere. i herd a gasp and looked up to see a man holding a pistol i smirked

" GO TO SLEEP"

i said and lunged at him he fired but i deflected the bullet with my knife i then proceeded to slice his throat causing him to fall dead within minutes i marked them with my trademark look and walked upstairs i saw a baby in a crib. it was a cute little girl with blonde curls i siged and out away my knife and picked her up and carried her back to the house with me i walked in and Nora came to greet me

" your back already that didn't take..."

she trailed off as she saw the baby

" Jeff where the the baby come from!"

she exclaimed and looked at the baby her eyes softened and she took her from me

" can we keep her?"

i ask and she sighes

" are her parents dead?"

she asked and i nodded she groaned

" well we have too she cant be by herself"

she said and i smiled and kissed her cheek

" what should we name her"

i asked she thought for a minute then smiled

" Abby"

i nodded and smiled at my adopted daughter

my little abby
