We're met in the kingdom of Naganosaa, the king of the kingdom is Corrin. Alex was born in the kingdom of Naganosaa, a kingdom of war. His father being Corrin. The kingdom of Naganosaa was well known for the dusk dragon. Legend has it anybody born under the royal family obtains dusk dragon blood. Anyway Alex didn't agree with how things went in Naganosaa and fled the kingdom. The one strange thing about Alex is he wears a bracelet that he never takes off. Maybe he wears it for a reason or he just likes it.
