The following day, Leia told Padmé. "Mum, I'm following you to work."

"Okay, is your dad alright with you following me?"

Before Leia could answer, Anakin cut in. "Sure she can. After all, you two make a dynamic duo." he joked.

"Oh, shut it. So do you and Luke."

"Who said anything about us being a dynamic duo?" Anakin said, smirking.

"I don't know. But you two do make a great team." she admitted.

"Sure we do. And you two do too." he said, agreeing.

"Well, time to go now. Leia, come with me. Bye, Ani." Padmé said, pecking Anakin on the cheek.

"Okay, I gotta go too. Obi-Wan's comming me." Anakin replied Obi-Wan on his commlink after saying goodbye.

Leia spoke up. "Bye Dad! Bye Luke!"

"Bye!!" Anakin and Luke said.

And off they went. Anakin and Luke went to the Temple. Padmé and Leia went to the office meeting.

They sat at the corner, where the entrance was.

"The Republic is falling apart!" shouted the former Chancellor Valorum.

They saw Chancellor Palpatine in his box rise up to the center.

Palpatine spoke in a low voice. "Thank you for your concern about the Republic, Valorum. As Chancellor, I demand us to stick together and fight for democracy."

Cheers were heard from other Senators. Leia nodded her head, as a sign that she agreed with the Chancellor. Padmé smiled.
Leia's quite the politician now...

And then the Chancellor and his box went back down. Padmé pushed the button on their box to move to the center.

"Mum? What are you doing- wait- whoa! Why are you moving to the center?"

Padmé just smiled. "Thank you Chancellor Palpatine for that powerful speech. Oh, and by the way, this is my daughter, Leia. You will be seeing her a lot around here."

Leia just waved.

And they with their box moved back down.

Meanwhile...

Anakin and Luke were training.
Now they were having a lightsaber duel. Anakin blocked while Luke attacked. The slight humming of the saber became immune to them. The sound of the crackling sabers clashing each other became immune too. They flipped around, when the other was too near. They went round each other in circles, like the predator stalking its prey. Anakin muttered, "Don't always attack, Luke. We'll change places soon."

Luke sighed. "Alright. But, please, Dad! When are we gonna take a break? We've been doing this for an hour!"

Anakin chuckled. "Fine. You can rest now."

Luke sighed with exhaustion. He dropped his saber and sat on the ground. "Oh, thank the Force, Dad! I was gonna die there!" He said with relief, wiping off his sweat.

Obi-Wan walked casually over to them.

"How's training?" he asked.

"Ben! Dad let me to take a break. I thought I was gonna die if it weren't for him!" Luke replied.

Anakin chuckled again. "That's lucky for you..."

Obi-Wan spoke again. "There's no such thing as luck." he corrected.

Anakin just waved him off. "Whatever, Master. But there's no word for his situation."

Luke came in the conversation. "True. True..." he agreed.

And they decided to meditate after that.

Back again at the Senate...

The meeting had just finished.

Padmé introduced Leia to Bail Organa, one of the Senators.

"Leia, this is Bail Organa. Bail, this is Leia." Padmé introduced.

Bail shook Leia's hand. "Nice to meet you."

Leia took his hand and shook it. "You too."

"Hope to see you more around here." Bail said again.

"Thanks. And I'll be hanging around here." Leia replied.

Back again at the Temple...

"Luke, focus. Let the Force flow through you." Obi-Wan instructed.

"Okay, Ben." Luke replied, still closing his eyes.

Anakin was still on a break. He was just walking around the Temple, whistling with his hands in his pocket. Obi-Wan saw him.

"Hey, Anakin. Since you're walking around, I wanna ask you this. Where's Leia, anyway?"
Anakin gulped. What was he gonna tell Obi-Wan? He knew that he was the master of excuses and trickery, but his tricks and excuses were no match for Obi-Wan's mastermind.

"Well... You see, Master. She is not a Jedi anymore..." he admitted. He didn't want Obi-Wan to freak out.

"Ermm... What do you mean she's not a Jedi anymore?" Obi-Wan asked, confused.

Anakin didn't answer.

"C'mon, Anakin. Tell me. Or else I'm comming Padmé." he said, sternly.

"She's a Senator now. With Padmé." Anakin admitted once more.

"Why did she quit?"

"Because she was frustrated."

"I see... She's just like you."

"Yeah... Kind of."

Just like me...
