Chapter 11: Boggarts and a Broken Heart

When we exited Divination, I ushered Hermione to an abandoned hallway near the classroom. I made sure that the coast was clear, so Hermione could use her time-turner to get to her class, Arithamacy, which just happened to be at the same time as Divination.

"Alright- go." I gestured for her to go.

Ron and Harry were too busy talking to Dean Thomas and Seamus Finnegan about an upcoming Qudditch match. It was New England against New Zealand or something.

I waited approximately one minute (yes, I counted to sixty), and then my bushy haired friend re appeared.

"Hey."

"Hey." I said back to her.

The two of us traveled down the hall, towards Professor Lupin's classroom.

When we walked towards the classroom, I passed my boyfriend.

He slipped a note into my hand, and winked at me. I gave him a rather large smile, and winked back at him. A tint of a red blush appeared on my cheeks. I gave a small, yet quiet giggle.

Hermione didn't notice, thankfully.

The two of us went into the classroom. Lupin wasn't there yet, so, Hermione and I sat behind Ron and Harry, so we were in the back of the classroom.

After I got out my notebook, quills, and my text book, I opened up the note George had given me. I felt a small blush creep onto my face just opening the note.

"My dearest Maddie,

I know that Qudditch Try-outs are tonight (and I know you will get Chaser), but perhaps, afterwards, you and I can go to the Room of Requirement on the seventh floor and have a picnic? Just us two?

Meet me after Qudditch to tell me your answer.

Love from,

George Weasley."

I blushed, and gave a wide smile. That's so sweet! George is so sweet...........

Once Lupin came into the classroom, we all quieted down.
