Its been about a week since the last time me and Justin talked. And since we broke up. I was still a little mad at him but I'll get over It I guess. Its what he wants.
And surprisingly Jake started texting me again and we've been getting really close. We are actually going to hang out tonight.
I also decided to tell dad and Aubrey about everything between me and Justin.
How we dated and how it all ended quickly.
They weren't too happy about how I never told them, but they quickly got over it because they knew how upset I was.
Jake was taking me and a group of people bowling to help get my mind off things, And honestly I needed it.
It's gonna be a lot of fun and I'll be able to finally get my mind off Justin
"Are you excited to finally get out of the house after you and Justin broke up?" Aubrey smiled
"You have no idea" I laughed
"Is your phone charged? And What time is he dropping you off? Oh And also- "
"Hey super dad! Chill" Aubrey laughed "she will be ok"
"Don't worry dad I have everything under control"
I went up stairs and got in the shower. completely letting the hot water distract me
I got out and let my hair stay down wet, honestly it looked cute that way. My hair had perfect little curls.
"He's here!" Aubrey yelled up the steps
I looked at my outfit one last time in the mirror. I couldn't wait
I was greeted at the bottom of the stairs by Jake. He looked good not gonna lie.
"Well hello their, long time no see" Jake smiled
"Yeah It's been awhile" I smiled back at him
"Well we should go, I won't have her out late. I promise!"
"Have fun kids" Aubrey smiled
After dad didn't say anything Aubrey softly smacked him
"Brian" she mumbled to him
"Yeah have fun" dad forced a smile
We walked out and waiting for us in the driveway was a mustang
"This wasn't here the last time you picked me up" I joked
"Yeaaaa my parents are kinda rich" he scratched the back of his head
"Hey im fine pulling into a bowling alley in a mustang" I smiled
"Alrighty then, off we go" he opened my door
Justin
I heard a car and saw head lights pulling into Skylar's driveway.
And yes curiosity took the best of me
As I looked I saw Jake get out of his mustang and greet Brian and Aubrey at the door
"Justin"
Richard broke me of my thoughts
"What?" I said rudely
I was kind of aggravated he interrupted me
"What are you looking at?" He raised an eyebrow
"Um..." I looked back out the window but he was already in the house "nothing.."
"Get ready for dinner" he walked off
When I looked back out of the window I saw Aubrey smiling at Jake as he opened the car door for her
Instantly I got angry

We pulled into the bowling alley and went in greeting everybody already there
I already noticed some of them from the party. Ya know the one where Jake got drunk and I walked home
"I'm gonna go pick out a ball" I told Jake over the loud music.
He nodded as I walked in the opposite direction.
I found the one I wanted and went to grab it when I felt bigger hands on top of mine
"Oh im sorry, you can have it"
I looked up and saw a guy with brown spiked up hair that had some blond in it. He also had freckles on his face
"No I insist, clearly you had it first" he smiled looking at my hands under his
"I'm Skylar"
"Oh pretty name pretty girl. I'm Derek"
"Nice name nice guy" I said mimicking him
"Are you here with Jake?" He asked looking around "he's been talking about you a lot lately"
"Um Yea, just as a friend though"
"I like that answer" he chuckled "I'm going to go look for a ball then I'm going to kick your butt in bowling"
"Yea good luck" I laughed
"Oh my gosh he was sooo flirting with you" Jake said in a girl voice behind me making me laugh
"Oh shut up" I rolled my eyes
"He seems nice" a girl said walking up behind me "hi I'm Gianna, or just G" she laughed
After getting talking for a couple minutes Gianna gave me her number.
I think we could become good friends
"Gosh this ball took forever to find, it better be good!" Derek laughed
After me, Derek and Jake versed eachother in a couple rounds we decided to call it a night.
"Hey Jake I'll take her to go get some ice cream and take her home. if that's okay with you" he looked at me
"I'd like that" I smiled
"Don't be out to late!" Jake said trying to sound like a parent
"Okayyy mom!" Derek yelled laughing as we walked out

"You so lost!" I chuckled back
"Okay, okay fine but I want a rematch"
"Gladly" I laughed looking down
We finished up our ice cream and walked to the car
"I like hanging out with you" he smiled
"Me to, it was a lot of fun" I smiled back
"Shall we go my lady" he said opening my door
"We shall" I giggled getting in
We drove back to my house chatting and laughing the whole way. Once we got there he opened my door and walked me to the door.
"Hey can I see your phone" he asked shyly
"Sure?" I said handing it to him
"Here's my number" he said giving me back my phone
That instantly made me blush
I put it back in my pocket and rested my hands against the railing.
Before I could even blink his hands were on my waist and his lips were on mine.
