I was sitting on my phone in the bathroom stall when the announcement came over the intercom. "Code red lockdown, I repeat, code red lockdown."
In my school, code red means someone is in the building who shouldn't be.  I turn my phone on Do Not Disturb and quietly walked to the bathroom door, to peek and see if anyone was in the hallway. If I saw them I would hang tight in the bathroom and find a weapon to defend myself.
The door creaks as I open it, but not very loudly. I look down each end of the hallway, and I don't see anyone, so I make a dash to the room across the hall.  Ms Brown teaches math in there.
As I'm half way across the hallway, I here a voice. A girl, maybe fifteen years old, shouted 'STOP RIGHT THERE!' I laughed it off, until she pulled a gun and shot my leg. I screamed in terror as blood gushed from my fresh wound. Before long, things go black...
