Chapter 6: Episode 6: Journey Home

Miyu's POV

"Sasuke Point B." "Sakura Im at point C." "Miyu this is Dumb." "Miyu." I heard Kakashi growl. "Dumb." I repeated. "Sensei that's the best any of us get from her now." Sakura pointed out. "Naruto I'm at point A, Believe it!" I smiled a bit. "You're slow Naruto. Ok squad seven.... The target has moved! Go!" I ran forwards. I can't believe this sounded like this was a real mission. But it's not. We are tracking down a cat. A stupid cat. I saw the others 8 meters away. The target was three and still couldn't see me. Quickly I went in and snatched it just as everyone else confirmed that they were ready. I saw my teammates jump towards me. I side stepped. What made this cat so special anyways? It's just a pet. 'A pet. That's how it all started. One dog, one boy, one bully, and a fisherman. Two arms, one head, one land of tears.' I thought grimly. "Naruto take it. It disgusts me." He looked up at me confused as I drop it on his head.

Later...

"Miyu the way you've been acting is intolerable." I smiled sadly. "Do you guys wanna play a game?" I lifted my head towards the sky. "A game?" The others asked. "I'll go first. Fight a bully or lose two of your arms. Naruto?" There was silence for a moment. "Fight the bully! Believe it." I smiled sadly. "You save a little kid, teach both him and his sister the importance of working hard, get married to their mother, and are called a hero." Naruto cut me off there. "Awesome!" I turned around. "But. An old man comes and threatens to take over the town, you stand up to him and your favorite motto is made a mockery of and are publicly executed in front of your family and land. Sasuke please choose a choice." I turned my attention to him. "Neither." He said coldly. I nodded. "A little boy dies because you could've helped but didn't, and a girl blames herself for her little brothers death." I looked at Sakura now. "Lose two arms." She decided. "You stood by and watched helplessly as the little girl ran up to the man who ordered her fathers death and was beaten up. At that place they don't have ninja. "He who controls the water controls everything."" I quoted. "That doesn't make any sense. I wouldn't just stand by and watch as one of my friends get beaten up!" Sakura stated. "We didn't have any ninja. We're not a village. We are a land with no ninja. He had ninja, power and money. You had nothing except sheer number. In which case it would've been a blood bath." Kakashi looked at me. "Is it still happening, where your from?" I shrugged. "I don't know. But now I realize if I leave that little boy alone for too long he won't move on. That's why after this week Team Seven will be one member less." I concluded. "But-" Naruto started. I shook my head. "End of discussion."

And then.... (Happy anyone? Fairy Tail? No? Ok... *dies in a hole all alone*)

Kakashi offered to let me have the day off but I declined. So now here we are arguing over wether or not we should get a tougher mission. Finally he gave way. "You'll be body gaurds on a journey." The third said. "Really? Yes! Who? Are we guarding a princess? Or someone important?!" Naruto shouted. "Don't be so impatient." The third said. "I will bring him in now. Send in the bridge builder." My eyes widened. "Huh?!" I looked up and smelled the air. "Great. If it's who I think it is he's drunk. Dammit." I mumbled. The instant the door opened I grabbed the bottle and threw it out the window. "Now there's only one person in the world who would do that without hesitation." He growled. "Nice to see you too Old Man." I smiled. "Miyu." I nodded. "Well we'll be guarding you. And I promise this time I'm going to make things right ok? I won't fail!" I stated. "Let's see you try. Now you the other smallest in the group with the idiotic look on your face. You really expect me to believe that you're a ninja?" I rolled my eyes. Naruto looked around. "Miyu he's talking about you." He said. I chuckled. "Second smallest half pint." He turned and growled at Tazuna. "I'll demolish you!" Kakashi and I held him back. "Naruto leave him alone. He's vital and very important to his land!" I reasoned. "Fine. But only if Miyu says please." I rolled my eyes. "Please?" He nodded.

Later...

Tazuna and I stayed back from the others. "You should've quiet Miyu." He whispered. "No way. I know what I'm going up against. And I don't want Gatò to win again. Not this time around. I'm gonna kill im." He sighed. "Well let's make it home in one piece ok?" I laughed. "Ok Grandpa." We walked in a comfortable silence after that. Until Sakura asked him a question. "Say Mr. Tazuna your country is the Land of Waves right?" He growled. "Yeah, what of it?" She looked towards Kakashi. "Kakashi-sensei there are ninja in that country too aren't there?" I shook my head. "No. There are no ninja in the Land of Waves. But in other countries there are." He offered. "Hey that kinda sounds like Miyu's home!" Naruto shouted. I winced at his volume. Ow. I just ignored the rest of the conversation. "Hey Miyu how come you have all that stuff with you?" Sasuke asked pointing to my large scroll. "My home isn't too far. And after this I'm leaving soo... Yeah." Naruto looked at me. "I thought you were just saying that stuff. Ya know kinda like that story you were telling us earlier. You have a great imagination, although sometimes it can be kinda dark." Naruto added. "Naruto! No one could just make stuff up like that. I think that little girl in the story was her." All eyes were on me now.

"Kakashi look out! Behind you!" He turned around. "What?" Just as he was torn apart. "Naruto, Sasuke, Sakura! Protect Tazuna at all costs!" I ran towards of the attackers. "Where is he?!" I shouted at the one I chose. He disappeared and reappeared behind Naruto. "Naruto watch out!" Sasuke immediately attacked the chains and attached them to a tree. "Now where is your boss?" I interrogated before kicking his face in. Mine ran towards Naruto. The other towards Tazuna. "Sasuke protect Tazuna!" I ran towards Naruto to help him. I ran in between Naruto and the guy ready to kick his ass. I lookeep up as soon as he disappeared. Kakashi had both of them. That's when he went into lecturing us about how we could just turn back. I looked at Naruto's hand again. "No! Leave if you want but I'm not giving up on this mission! Never in a million years. Because this one involves someone I'll most definitely kill if I ever see him again." I shouted. That's when Naruto stabbed his hand. "Naruto you dumb fucker!" That's when he went and had his big ass moment for a speech. "That's great and all Naruto but if you keep this up you'll die." That's when he started freaking out. I grabbed some bandages and treated his wounds. "Hey Miyu, you seem like you've done this a lot before, so have you?" I just nodded. "I was picked on a lot in Kahona because I wasn't very good in anything involving ninja."
