Two words. How hard could it be?
"I'm gay,"
First the appetizer came. The two words had yet to make an appearance. The meal followed shortly. A man entered the dinner. His high pitched laughter interrupted dessert.
"I bet he's gay," her mother spat out with distaste. The girl froze.
"I'm glad you're not like that," she said to the quiet daughter.
The dessert was now cold. She had a choice. She could ruin the night with the words, or she could save the night and ruin her happiness. Time was running out. It was now or never.
"Hey mom...,"
