Flashback Dakota's pov (he's about four)

"Here comes a fast one" my dad threw the baseball my way the mitt was way to big so I struggled to catch the ball on Saturday my dad and I would play baseball against some of the neighbors so This particular day Friday dad was helping me with catching and pitching.

my mom came out side waddling she wore a yellow sun dress and white tights her stomach swollen "boys I made lunch come on inside" she called.

my dad made his way to me helping me remove my gear, after removing my helmet I ran to my mom and grabbed her hand.

she couldn't pick me up because it was hard for her to bend down.

my dad stood above me he Ruffled my hair and picked me up.

he then gave my mom one of those nasty things, I don't know what it was but it always made mommy turn red and every time she does dad says "we've done worst" making her turn redder than a fire truck, I asked a bunch of people what he meant but they all say "wait to you're older" "or you're to young."

my dad placed me on the high stool right in front of the countertop, and placed my lunch in front of me which consisted of little chicken nuggets in race car shapes and juice.

just as everything settled down and the room got quiet, I heard mommy scream and daddy shoot up rushing to the door the last thing mommy said was "MY WATER BROKE."
(Flashback over)

Dakota's pov
How could I have been so stupid!

my job was to protect my pact and now my beta is dying, some of my warriors are dead, and my sisters missing.

I didn't last too long at the meeting to find Daria, I got mad and flipped the table and broke Jared's (member of the alpha council) wrist.

I warned him not to touch me but the bastard attempted to keep me in the room and I went ape on him.

I watch skyler sleep the anger slowly sliding out of me as I stroked her hair gently.

I liked watching her sleep as weird as it sounded.

she didn't snore, she moved a lot, and she mumbled in her sleep.

her eyes opened slowly and she jumped unsure of her surroundings, she calmed down slowly and my throat went dry.

she sat up stretching "how was the meeting?" she asked pulling her hair into a ponytail.

I couldn't help myself I leaned forward crashing my lips to hers, I lost almost all self control I wanted my mate I had gone to long without her I'm stressed.......

She wrapped her arms around my neck tugging at my hair, she pulled away a questioning look on her face "so the meeting was bad?" she whispered her eyebrows scrunched together.

"I love you" I whispered placing my forehead against her "so much" she smiled "I love you too" she said warm tears running down her face.

all this time I've been feeling self pity when skylar didn't have parents, all she had was her brother and he was missing.

I kissed her again gently laying her back down on the mattress, she lifted my shirt and I allowed her to pull it over my head.

I proceeded to kiss her neck mainly kissing my mark I looked down at her, I could hear her heart beat hammering In her chest.

I felt her hands pulling at my belt and I let her unbuckle and pull down my pants.

I pulled her shirt off and pulled off her shorts so we where both only in underwear, she inhaled as I unclasped her bra pulling it off I did the same with her underwear and I took awhile to stare at her naked body.

"are you sure" I whispered she nodded........

We made love all night it was 2:00 am and we where both sweating profusely.

I heard a knock on the doors as I pulled Skylar into my chest the banging continued "Alpha we found you sister."

I'm sorry I need to stop with the cliff hangers oh well next chapter has some serious drama and a twist you'll never expect...
