The sky is light,
Her eyes are bright
She could run forever
On four feet.
What was this feeling,
Like a song of drums pounding
As the red and orange leaves fell around her
She ran,
Where ever she went, leaves littered around.
She sung,
She howled
Her lungs tore at by frost,
She breaks by her stream.
This is where she saw him.
She feels a weight on her chest,
For he does not know what has happened to
Strange, silver girl,
Who should await him at his clubhouse.
There are still moments before he knows.
So she finds the stag bone,
From the first day they met,
And she whispers her love to it.
And shakes it off her powerful body,
Waiting in the forest of green
He arrives home.
He cannot find the wolfgirl.
She watches from the trees,
But they are of separate worlds now
And all he can find of her is the stag bone
From the full throng of summer,
All he has left.
And he takes it inside.
She runs,
Fooling herself in the most cruel way
He was never in your heart.
He is gone to you now
It is better to forget.
And the boy sadly wonders where she could have gone.
And that feeling,
The fullest of joys;
Trust.
and it has now been broken,
and they have been broken.
