She was miss sunshine.
Happiness followed her
wherever she went.
She enjoyed life,
always smiling.

She appreciated
everything
and loved
everything so dearly.

Everything made her smile
from cheek to cheek.
A ball of sunshine
she was.
Never seeming to
be down.

She would always give and
never ask for
anything in return.
She would love others
even if they didn't
love her back.

She spread her happiness
around to others.
She found joy in
making others smile.

But, caring too much,
left her empty inside.

She was never happy
on her own.
She needed others to love
and cherish so she
felt she had
a purpose in life.

Deep down,
she knew it wasn't
true happiness.
Because what she
didn't know was...

Letting go of the
pain hurts less
than holding
it all in.
But finally, she
got tired of
always being strong.

Because what she
didn't know was...
Sunshine all the time
makes a desert.
