(F/n)'s POV

It's been two days now since I realized I lost my ring. Dammit, where did I put it?! I usually don't misplace things like this.

I just don't know anymore.

I haven't even told anyone about what Gunther did to me that night. We haven't even said a word or looked at each other since then!

Okay (f/n), don't dwell on this subject too much.

I told myself.

Right now I was heading to the mess hall where commander Erwin had an announcement.

All we were told was that it was pretty important.

As I walked inside, I spotted Hanji, Levi and Mike standing next to the commander.

They were all lined up at the front of the mess hall. By the looks on their faces, it was something major.

A few minutes passed and all of the scouts were in here so the commander started his speech.

"Good afternoon, cadets. Sorry for pulling you out of your training...but there was something we must discuss. A few days ago, we just received word that there had been a Titan breach in Shiganshina."

Everyone in the room gasped except for the commander and the squad leaders.

Oh my God...a Titan breach?!

"The higher ups and I didn't tell you right away since we needed a plan on what we were going to do. I'll be going to a meeting later today in wall Rose with the commanders of the other regiments. We should hopefully have an expedition into Shiganshina tomorrow morning to fix the situation at hand. That is all, cadets. You may be dismissed and go back to training."

The commander finished the assembly and I went over to talk to Hanji.

"Hey Hanji, is this what you were talking about the other day. You know...when you said "nothing that concerns me"?" I asked when I got over to her.

I saw her exhale a sigh, turning over to look at me. "Yes." She bluntly answered. "Oh." I muttered. I nodded, walking away. I didn't want to bother her about this, so I went outside to continue training.

I can't believe the Titans breached Shiganshina! The Titans have officially broken through the outer wall. We haven't seen this happen in over a hundred years, right?

I was so distracted by my thoughts, I almost didn't notice that I walked into someone. We hit our foreheads together, both grabbing them and wincing at the pain.

"Sorry." We apologized in unison.

Wait...I know whose voice that is.

"Levi?" I asked, looking up and seeing his steel gray eyes.

"(F/n)?" He looked up as well, our eyes locking together.

I let out a small chuckle as I moved Levi's hands away from his forehead.

"Are you alright?" I asked, examining the small bruise that formed. "Yeah, but I should be asking you that." He replied, moving my hair out of the way.

Then...Levi seemed to get a bit...carried away...?

His hands made their way from my forehead, to my cheeks. His eyes were slowly closing as he leaned in carefully.

"How does it look?" I asked, snapping Levi back to reality. "...O-oh...! It's bruised up, but it'll be fine. I guess we hit each other pretty hard." He hesitated.
