prologue

Luke knew that finding his soulmate was the only way for him to be accepted in his society.

It was so difficult to do so. It seemed as if everyday someone from school was finding their soulmate and he was left alone. His options were becoming limited but he didn't want to be the one to initiate anything. He hated that he was too shy to just grab a random person's hand and see if their wings would light up.

Instead he'd just sit in his rose home and binge watch Keeping Up With The Flutters until the time came. (Luke secretly prayed that his soulmate loved that show.) He just hoped and prayed that his soulmate would be incredible and that he could truly love him.

For now he'd just remain a shy little fairy that had to wait.

This was kind of a weird prologue but here's the start of my Blue Scales spinoff with fairy!soulmates instead of mermaid!soulmates and idk I'm excited.
