She came into the library to return books.
He was there.
He was there at the check out desk.
She was delighted.
She strolled over to the desk and dropped off her books.
Ian took them in pleased.
She then again took her small fingers and wrote his name on the dark wooded desk.
Ian did the same.
He took his pale fingers and wrote her name, Abby.
Abby looked up, a bit shocked.
She didn't think it was noticeable.
He looked up and smiled.
Her face lit up.
Her precious lips formed a smile so big, Ian's heart pained.
Their fingers found each other and touched on the mahogany colored wood.
