Patter, Patter Rain Drops

As it drifted down the window pane,
To join the puddle of water astray.

Down it went to join its own company,
To make itself safe by building walls within.

Patter, Patter, the rain went,
Down the roof, down the window pane again.

As I bent down to see it,
There was nothing but a sense of assuage.

The rain drop was safe,
With its own kind, so brave.

It gave support and inspiration,
To never fight or built partitions,
To live together and forever.

Patter, patter, the rain went,
Down the roof, down the window pane.
