Unexpected Love

Chapter 8

Shane's POV

I did nothing this weekend besides going to the gym and running and watching t.v. I kept thinking about Friday night which was my date with Colleen, and I am proud that I finally told her my feelings for her and that It didn't ruin our friendship in any way. It's currently Monday and I am heading over to Colleen's house to do a collab video for Miranda's channel at 5 p.m. Right now it's 4:30 so I start getting dressed and style my hair the way I like. I am also looking forward to tomorrow because I get to collab again with Colleen for a video of Colleen's Corner, as you can tell I like spending time with her. It's currently 4:45, there's usually traffic so I decide to go a little early. I grab my car keys and wallet and turn off the lights and head out the door.

(Still Shane's POV)

I get to Colleen's house at exactly 5 p.m., so I am glad I went early. I pull out the keys and once I am out I lock the car and put my wallet in my pants back pocket. I walk up the steps to her house and when I get to her door I knock. When she opens the door she's already dressed up as Miranda, I laugh.

Colleen: "Hey Shane!, you got here right on time."

I don't know if it's just me but it's weird to hear Colleen talk her natural voice when she's dressed as Miranda.

Shane:"Yea I decided to hit the road a little early because I thought there would be traffic."

Colleen:"Ok, well come on in." she steps out of the way so I come in.

Shane:"So do you want to start making your Miranda video?"

Colleen:"Sure, as you can tell I am already dressed up and ready to go." she says after closing the door and faces towards me.

Shane:"Yeah I can tell someone's eager to make a video." she punches my arm playfully. "OW" I say while I rub my arm where she hit me.

Colleen:"That's what you get!" she said in her Miranda voice.

Colleen's POV

We walk into Miranda's room and I grab my camera and my lights and start setting them up.

Shane:"So what are you thinking about doing in the video?" he asks while setting his car keys and wallet on the dresser.

Colleen:"Yeah, I was thinking about turning you into one of my many bae's and then at the end I say April Fools and you say It's not April Fools and then I say It still counts."

Shane:"Sounds fun, and what do you want to do tomorrow for your Colleen's Corner video."

Colleen:"Do a best friend tag with you." I say while setting two stools up for me and Shane.

Shane:"Are you going to explain what happened between you and Josh at some point to them."

Colleen:"Eventually but not right now."

He just nods.

Shane:"So I was thinking If you weren't busy this weekend we could hang out again If you would like?"

Colleen:"Sure, I am not really busy any more so I probably will be able too."

I look up from what I am doing and my brown eyes met his green eyes and we really look at each other like we did on our date after we said we both have feelings for each other. He smiles and so do I. I never noticed how nice of a smile Shane has and how white his teeth are, he's just overall cute. I hope we become a couple sometime in the future. I am getting sidetracked though.

Colleen: "You ready to make the video?"

Shane:"Sure."

I sit down on one of the stools and Shane is behind the camera. I nod my head and he hits the record button.
