Forget The Mask
Chapter 5

3rd Person's POV

"Sabine, we're here to work on a project with Marinette. Is she here?" Alya said as she entered the bakery.

"Oh yes dear, she's upstairs." Sabine said
"Pardon the intrusion then." Alya said which made Sabine giggle a bit.

"So, you two seem close." Nino stated seeing that Alya just addressed Ms.Dupein-Cheng by her first name.
"Yup, besides. Even if I called her Ms.Cheng or Ms. Dupein-Cheng, she'll insist on calling her Sabine."
"I see."

"Marinette! We're here!" Alya hollered as she climbed the stairs leading to her best friend's room.

A 'huh' and a few thuds was heard as the other three went straight up without an answer from Marinette.

"Woah, pinky room you have here dudette." Nino stated.
"Thank you for that Captain Obvious." Alya jokingly said as she lightly punched Nino's shoulder.
"Marinette?" Adrien questioned looking for the clumsy girl.

"Err....a little help here?" The trio heard a voice coming from near the vanity.

"What the heck happened to you Gurl?" Alya asked smirking to a now tied up in threads, wool, thin cloth and a few more materials Marinette.

"Its not my fault that somebody just came screaming while I was sooo focused on my works." Marinette asked rolling her eyes at her best friend.

"So should I get the scissors?" Nino asked
"No! The materials will go to waste." Marinette exclaimed.

"What should we do then?" Adrien asked

"O-oh Uhh....I err- umm, just Mama get you me- I mean uh~" Marinette stuttered getting nervous around Adrien once again.

"Alright calm down girl." Alya said going down the stairs once again.

'Ugh....I did it again. Maybe the 'not be a stuttering mess around Adrien' is just a one time thing." Marinette thought as she sighed and tried to get a few threads out of the way.

"Mari, Sabine was a bit too busy preparing lunch. Just tell us what to do."

---a few minutes of removing the tangles---

"Well, thank you! How about we work on the project now?" Marinette suggested looking straight at Alya to avoid stuttering.

"Yeah, so how much progress have you two done?" Alya asked as she grabbed Marinette's sketch pad.

"Well since you two were the one who knows the theme, me and Marinette just sketched up some stuff." Adrien answered as Nino and Alya looked at the sketches together.

"Why didn't you call us dude?" Nino joked.
"Ooh, maybe they were to busy enjoying each other's presence to even think about that option." Alya joked smirking at her best friend who in return just slapped her arm while blushing at her statement.

"Alya! Seriously....stawp."

"Oh come on Alya, doesn't the same goes for you and Nino?" Adrien asked a slight tint of pink spreading through his face.
