The Forest:anna's Story

chapter one:the plan

Here I was in my room looking out my window into the forest I still see a black shadow now and again but I'm not afriad at all
I hear my mom telling my siblings goodnight I walk to my bed and lay down and my mom peeks her head in my room

"Goodnight Anna sweet dreams I love you" she says as she kisses my head

"I love you too mom" I say and close my eyes till she's out of my room

I peek open my eyes as I hear her bedroom door close I get up and look out my window again I don't see the shadow but I know its there waiting for me to make a move I go to my closet and get out my backpack I packed yesterday night I put it over my shoulder and sneek downstairs and I grab the note I'm leaving and lay it on the table and walk to the back door and open it quietly so nobody wakes up I look at the forest still no shadow I close the back door and walk towards the forest I'm at the edge of the forest and I start to hear music its kinda catchy and soft kinda like classical music but with a catchier tune to it I take a deep breath and walk into the forest I look around then I keep walking I thought I heard footsteps behind me but I turn around and I see nothing I turn back around and keep walking then I start to hear it again I sigh and I start to get tired I think I been walking for hours so I take out my sleeping bag and lay it on the ground and I unzip it and get inside and and zip myself up and start to doze of to sleep

I hear footsteps I groan I hope its not my brother ian telling me I shouldn't be here and blah blah blah I open my eyes slowly and yawn as I then see a boy I think around my age tall with dirty blonde hair and green eyes I keep looking at him

"Are you gonna keep staring or you gonna tell me your name" he says with a smirk and leans against a tree

"I...uh..I'm anna" I stutter still staring

"I'm Jackson so what you doing here are you lost" he says walking to me and sitting in front of me

"Uh no not really I ran away from home" I say as I sit up and look into his eyes they are so green

"So did I may I ask you why you ran away" he says

"Nobody would let me do what I want I wanted to come into the forest and they wouldn't let me so I made a plan and runaway the night I was turning 18" I say to him wow I never talk this much not even to my mom

"Ah I see I'm also 18 too I been here awhile tho its not that bad once you get use to it" he says as he smiles at me

"That's nice to know so where do you sleep" I say and return a smile back

"Just that away would you like to see " he says pointing straight ahead

"I would love to" I say and then pack my sleeping bag on put it over my shoulder

He stands up and he walks straight and I follow him its been a few minutes and I start to wonder if he's gonna murder me before I say something I see a log cabin in front of me I look at it in awe

"I didn't know anybody lived in the forest" I say to him and look back at him

"Not a lot of people do gets lonley out here" he says and starts walking to the cabin

I follow him still amazed how he lives in this cabin I look around and see the dark shadow I can't seen sence yesterday then it goes away in a blink of a eye
