Coma: Part II

In the beginning/middle of our relationship, it was bad. I was changing and I knew it, but did I care ? No I didn't. Me and Drew would always be together - on campus , in the dorms , eating , studying. It was great, but then I started to get more attention and it was from everybody. Girls and guys , girls would flirt and guys would try to become my friends and goddammit I loved it.

Only because I was a lonely person. So one day I got invited to a party and I invited drew but she had to study so she couldn't come , so I was alone all by myself. Well to make a long story short, I ended up drunk and cheated on Drew. She didn't know so I kept doing it because it felt good and well what she didn't know wouldn't hurt her, or so I thought one of the girls I cheated on her with - yes there was more than one - came up to her and told her all about us even showed her pictures. Later that night I went to her dorm and outside of the door was a box with my name on it. Everything that was in that box was everything I ever gave her and a note which read -

Dear Caesar,

I know about what you did , with all those girls. I don't know if you noticed it, but i have , you're drifting apart from me, from this relationship. I think its about time we separate and by that I mean break up. It probably makes no sense that I'm doing it over a letter. But it also doesn't make sense how much you broke my heart. You broke my heart so bad that it can never be fixed. I hope you know that I trusted you not to break my heart , but you did anyway and for that I thank you because now I know that everybody isn't who they say they are. I also just wanted to let you know that I hate you, I hate the fact that I had to find out from someone else. If you would have just manned up and told me after the first time, then i would probably not have been as mad as I am now. I just wanted to let you know I love you well loved you now. You're nothing to me and I hope you're happy.

That night I actually cried myself to sleep. It was the first time and what I had hoped to be the last. After that I just didn't care anymore, I went to more parties , I had started to drink more. I had lost the love of my life and it was all my fault. A few weeks later Sherman - a guy who I have known for a few months - came to my room.

" Listen man, I know we haven't known each other long. But you're not yourself honestly, I hate to see you like this. Now tell me what's wrong. "
He said slowly.

I huffed " I cheated on Drew " His eyebrows shot up and he looked around the room, cleared his throat, then said " You cheated on your boyfriend ?" I stared at him in shock. That's right, he didn't know who Drew is, come to think of it, none of my friends do.

"What no she's a girl with a guy's name!!" I just about yelled out.

He chuckled. Then got serious. "Seriously dude if you miss her that much then go get her back."

"Its not that easy she probably won't even listen." I sighed

He smirked " then you have to make her listen "

After that we sat for hours trying to come up for ways to make her listen and by the end of the night we came up with something. The next day I went to the principle to set the plan into action and a couple days later he called for an assembly. In front of the whole college, I apologized to Drew and told everyone of my cheating. Later that day we had dinner together where she agreed to be mine again, but she still didn't trust me fully and we also had to take things slow.

But.... It was the second best day ever!!
