This rant is not that big since it focuses only on one subject but I see it so often it's almost funny. Yet no one realizes how utterly stupid and ridiculous.
Raise your hand if you've ever read a story where the Alpha hates rogues because a) they killed his parents, b) he think they're undisciplined or c) both.
Then our little sap of a heroine is chased out of her pack for some reason that will come back later to bite her in the ass and she "accidently" stumbles on this guy's territory.
Because he hates them the Alpha orders all rogues to be captured and kept in cells to be tortured yada yada yada.
So our heroine is thrown in the dungeons and all and probably beaten and starved depending on the author and she's oh so strong and doesn't give them info or whatever.
Then the Alpha comes, gets in touch with his inner caveman and yells mine and probably breaks the silver bars keeping her in there because he's half hulk. (plot twist!)
Then seeing how effed up she looks he promptly blames the people who captured her and nearly kills them or punches them.
I'm definitely raising mine.

None of them were to blame for your mate being in this position. You are the sole reason that she was hurt. Why are you being so pissy about it, they were following your goddamned orders!
You need to take a chill pill or TEN. You automatically judge someone based on their upbringing and circumstances. It is worse than saying that blondes are dumb and girls who wear revealing clothes are sluts. You are automatically stereotyping rogues as "bad" but the only "bad" person is you for torturing them. Yeah I get if you killed the ones who killed your parents but what if the rogue is innocent? Maybe that person just wanted to be alone so they don't live in a pack and now you're making them suffer for a decision that made them happy. It is cruel and psychotic and these wolves behind your bars? They have mates too.
Ever think about that? That these people may be brothers, sisters, fathers, mothers, aunts and uncles? What if they have someone waiting at home? Maybe a kid that is depending on them for survival because the mother or father died? These are people too and instead of learning from the feeling of seeing your mate like that you apologize to her and keep the rest of them like that?
Many times I'll be on here and I'll be describing something violent but I'd never actually do them. But people are writing about these Alphas doing this and the girl is perfectly fine with that? What in the actual fuck? The moon could go screw herself before she pairs me with anyone who pours silver acid all over other werewolves and enjoys them screaming. I wouldn't wish that kind of agony on anyone. That person is more of a monster than the one in the cell.
So next time you write, my little wolves and anyone else who reads this, think about what you are putting online. What kind of example is this? That is twisted shit and it needs to stop.
