1. Football Practice

LUCAS:

I woke up to my friends screaming at the top of their lungs.

Getting up from the couch, I groaned at the noise. Once I reached the kitchen I had seen Zay yelling at Farkle and Riley.

"What's going on guys?" I asked sleepily.

Farkle and Riley stared at me. Zay spoke up. "Farkle and Riley have something to say."

I looked towards Farkle and Riley's direction. "Well- m-me and Farkle-" Riley stuttered out.

By now Riley looked as if she was going to cry. "Riley and I are a couple." I was shocked. My best friends are a couple? I would've never thought of that.

Although when we slept at each other's houses, or sleep in a hotel on vacations, Riley and Farkle would always insist on having to share a room with each other.

It made sense to me. But not to Zay. He wasn't taking much of a liking to them being together. He would come around and be supportive of them soon. Hopefully.

Farkle pulled Riley to his side tightly as Riley put her head on Farkle's shoulder. "That's amazing. I'm proud of you for telling us about this sooner than later." I hugged both of them while Zay stood to the side disapprovingly looking at our two dating friends.

Once we pulled apart I spoke to Zay. "Why are you not happy about this?"

"I- I just never wanted anything to change and now our friendship will be different. Lucas has a girlfriend. Riley and Farkle are dating now. And I'm just the guy who has four friends who he never hangs out with because they have their own stuff to deal with. I don't have a girlfriend like you guys." Zay explained looking down at his feet.

"Nothing will ever change us Zay." Farkle said reassuringly.

Zay group hugged all of us. "Hey Zay. I'll get you a girl." I said as we pulled away. We laughed.

Farkle pecked Riley on the lips and Riley blushed like crazy. It was great to see them happy. Together.

Football practice was starting. We all changed into our teams uniform.

It's still August. But, tomorrow is September. Football season started 2 weeks ago.

Once we were done stretching, and ran the track of the high schools field, I was really sweaty.

When practice was over I walked over to the stands where my four friends were sitting. I saw Maya and pecked her lips lightly in an innocent way.

My girlfriend Maya came over about halfway through practice. She is very supportive of the team.

Riley and Farkle announced they are dating at practice. Maya squealed and hugged Riley and Farkle.

"I'm so happy that you two are dating. But Riley? What will your dad say about this?" Riley covered her mouth and looked towards Farkle who puts both hands up in surrender.

"I'm not telling Mr.Matthews. He wouldn't even like that you've kissed someone yet. And you've done a lot more than just kissing, if you know what I mean. But we're all mature even at 17." Farkle said walking out of the stands.

"Not it!" I scream giggling running back to the school locker room with Maya following. Zay and Farkle ran off the schools grounds, down the street to their houses. Leaving Riley with her phone alone in the stands.

"Lucas? When does school start?" Maya says as we lie down on my bed staring at the ceiling.

"Well. We start in 2 days. It's surprising how summer went by so fast. But we'll still hang out and you can sleepover a lot and we could do some stuff. My mom is on a business trip for a while so we can have the house to ourselves. My parents are at their high school reunion in a different state" I say moving, rolling over, spooning Maya. I then move Maya onto my lap and start to kiss her neck. Sucking and biting as I lay flip us over and lie her down gently on my bed.

"Lucas...." She said slightly pushing me off of her. I hum and still proceed to kiss her neck.

"You smell. Bad."

"Well then I'll just have to shower." I smirked.

I tried to pull her into the bathroom with me but she ran out of my room, and down the stairs into the living room to play with my dog.

Hello! This is a new fanfic which is lucaya!
