"Mika Black. What is your plea?" Judge Price asks from his high pedestal. The Jury and witnesses stare closely at the Latino girl in front of them.

After spending about a week in a cell her skin looked worn and dirty. Her hair matted and tangled but her eyes for some reason held an unusual sparkle.

When she'd blink the sparkle would glisten even brighter. Like moving a diamond around in the sunlight. And her peculiar eyes captivated everyone in the audience.

The families and friends of Jordan Douglass however were not as easily distracted. Their focus was solely on the girl who they now held an enormous bitterness toward as she stood walking, breathing, and living.

The jury were at a frenzy trying to figure out what to do. They pass by paper by paper of evidence. They reviewed case files and the evidence from the crime scene but their were stuck.

No one could figure out if she did it.

She stood back straight and head
