I wrote this short story about the forest <3 the forest is my favorite place to be, and it's kinda sad because I don't get to visit it that often. I mean there's a forest near my house it's just I can't just go there.
So here it is! Hope u like it!
I hear the sound of crunching leaves
As I step with them with my feet
I feel the smooth breeze gently press against my skin
It's so cold, but it's so nice.
I see the tall beautiful trees
Surround me, trap me in.
When I look up,
All I can see is the leaves in autumn
Falling, with the light blue sky.
As I'm walking,
I feel relaxed and in peace
Although it's not all peace and lovely things in the woods
There's probably dangerous animals-
Whoops! I almost touched poison ivy.
Gotta be careful on that.
I hear the water in the small lake flow.
I touch the water with my hand
The water moves into my hand
I fell some pressure.
I take it out, it's wet.
I try to run to catch a leaf
I caught a autumn leaf
A yellow one, to be exact.
The dirt is filled with little lives
Worms and bugs galore
I hear the birds chirping.
As I'm walking, I sometimes get the vibe
That a person could be here with me
Like someone would stalk me from behind a tree
It's like a huge maze
A endless huge maze
You keep walking anyway.
When you get out, you see the bright sun.
Your eyes had to get used to the lighting.
It's sunset, the wind is getting colder
It's night, the owls are making there sound.
It's completely dark in the woods
Most of the time,
It's very peaceful, in the woods.
