i am human

i feel pain and despair

i either hurt or get hurt

i always care

i am human

i have emotions and feelings

i at times pretend

and i always conceal things

i am human

i smile but i also cry

i live in a world with no direction and filled with imperfections

i do whatever i can to live by

i am human

i judge and im impulsive

i think about myself

but i am always compulsive

i am human

i shut people out

i can never reveal whats inside

i feel like i always have this need to cry and shout

i am human

i feel alone most of the time

people leave and people say goodbye

i always say 'im fine'

i am human

but i never said i wanted to be

i am human

and i will never know what it is like to be free
