The door bells chimed,
Signaling someone had entered
The music store.
Michael looked up from the counter,
Ready to greet the person,
But he was speechless.
The person who had entered
Was strikingly beautiful.
Her pastel purple hair,
Her emerald eyes,
Her dark red lips,
Her pale skin tone,
Her blink-182 t-shirt,
Her ripped skinny jeans,
Every feature was breathtaking.
And so Michael was so speechless
That he didn't say a word.
The beautiful girl
Walked around the store,
Grabbing a few things in the process.
A bag of black picks,
The new Sleeping With Sirens vinyl,
And a pack of new guitar strings.
And if you're wondering,
Michael did watch her every move.
And he noticed
She was walking his way.
The beautiful girl
Set her items on the counter,
And waited for Michael.
He realized he was staring,
And he could feel
Himself getting red.
Michael began to check her items out,
When she caught him off guard,
"I like your hair."
The beautiful girl,
With the most beautiful voice said.
Michael's hair was dyed red,
For the moment.
"Yours is better."
He surprises himself,
Complementing her lilac hair.
"Your total is $25.32"
Michael informs her,
After he checks the last item.
She hands him exactly
Twenty five dollars,
And thirty two cents.
Michael hands the girl her bag.
"Have a great day."
Michael says, wishing he hadn't.
"You too."
The beautiful girl smiled,
Then walked away.
One question
Michael needed and answer to,
Was a question he would
Never be able to.
Oh, how Michael wanted to know,
What the perfect girl's name was,
And if she would be back
Anytime soon.
