A lonesome mind and the ease of an aimless road dooms the very core of a living being. Their incentives crumble to mere ashes and they begin to question the cruelties of the world. They observe from a far, clutching to their fragile hearts, hating yet loving the aesthetics of the environment that accompanies them.

'Oh how lonely I am.' They cry in anguish as they ponder the essence of life and the ignorance of others. They walk in the dark, following a crooked path to eternal darkness.

Every so often a patch of light would appear on this infinite, forlorn path. Excitement fills within them as they analyze this joyful sight. Without knowing, they stop to gaze deeply into this wonderful thing as other things breeze by their dense bodies. They reach to touch the glistening fairy-tale, but in return, the light scorches them. Their hearts blacken. They stray a little ways off, glaring at this wondrous thing that now takes the appearance of a hideous demon.

With their soft, fragile hearts, now dark and bitter, they watch the world unfold before them with suffocating skepticism. The beautiful world morphs into something cruel and black, presenting itself as a vice that they should detach themselves from.

'I hate everything.' They clenched their teeth as they sob a trail of invisible tears. Emptiness hollows them out; their bodies, heavy with the weight of their pain. They withdraw warily from the seemingly lovely beams. The glistening patches of light dotted the lonesome path. They watch a far, their broken hearts fill with delight but the jaws of envy slowly clamp on the back of their minds.

The ever growing loneliness and the development of their nihilistic views slither up their spines and coil around their heads like an elaborate, elegant headdress.

They dream of a beautiful dream. Something that will transform this crooked path they trudge on and brighten the darkness that suffocates them.

And so they hobble on with their broken hearts, searching for the perfect dream, only to earn new invisible, hideous scars.
