Amanda stood standing at the entrance of the decorated church. She smiled a little to herself as she glanced around. They had just finished the rehearsal for her and Daniel's wedding. Everything was set perfectly the way she had wanted it.
"Hey, were you ready?" Amanda turned her head and gave Emily a smile. "Yeah . I'm coming.. I'll be right there." Emily gave her a small nod and exited the church.
Amanda glanced around the church one more time before turning out the lights and shutting the door as she exited the church. She couldn't believe after everything that this was happening. And with Daniel. The person that when she was little, she never in a million years would least think possible. A person she had at first come to hate had become one of the persons she loved most and became her best friend.
"You alright?" Emily asked as Amanda opened the car door and got into the passenger seat." Amanda smiled glancing at her friend. "I've never been better."
Once the two girls got back to the beach house, Emily glanced over at Amanda. "How about a movie?" Amanda smiled a little. "That sounds like a great idea. Choose any you'd like.." Amanda followed Emily into the living room then sat down next to her friend as the movie began.
As Emily sat down, Amanda grinned a little as something shiny caught the corner of her eye. "Did you ever think that when we met each other, we would both be sitting here today planning weddings?" Emily smiled holding up her hand to look at her ring that Jack had given her.
"I honestly didn't think it'd ever be possible for me to meet anyone at all. Especially someone like Jack.." Amanda smiled. "Well. You got lucky when it comes to Jack. He's one of the best guys I know. But of course I'm biased." She winked. Emily laughed a little.
"Are you sure you have everything?" Amanda asked Emily before they got in the car to make their way to the church. Emily took a deep breath and placed a hand on her friend's shoulder. "Everything will be fine Amanda.. I promise.." Amanda took a deep breath as well. "I know.. And thank you,." She smiled.
Once the two girls arrived at the wedding, they made their way down to the small room to get ready.
"Ready?" Emily asked glancing back at her friend once they had the last finishing touches." Amanda smiled. "I'm ready." "David is waiting outside the church entrance for you." Amanda followed Emily out of the room and to the church entrance
"You look beautiful." David said smiling hugging his daughter as she approached him. "Ready?" He asked as they heard the music start to play. "As ready as I'll ever be.." She smiled. She watched as Amanda and Jack made their way down the aisle then slowly began to walk down once it was her turn. She returned Daniel's smile as she locked eyes with him as she walked down the aisle with her father.
Once the service has ended and they said their goodbyes, Daniel opened the door to the limo for Amanda then slid into the cab after her. "So. Where did you say we were going for our trip?" Amanda asked glancing over at him as he placed his hand gently over hers.
Daniel glanced over at her and laughed. "You don't give up do you? Has anyone told you you're stubborn?" He asked giving her a small playful wink. Amanda couldn't help but give a small smile. "They might have mentioned it a few times." Daniel laughed a little. "It's a surprise.."
