Chapter 10

I wiped my tears away and got up from the bed. I opened the door and Yesung was there with two cups of tea. I smiled sadly and opened the door so he could come in. He gave me a sad smile back and walked in.

I closed the door and went back to my bed to sit down. Yesung stood up for a bit and then sat down. I took a sip of my tea. My favorite. Tea with honey. I smiled softly and drank some more.

It was quiet for a bit before Yesung spoke up. " I'm sorry about yesterday." I nodded. " I know it was the first time you see me and for that to happen, I'm truly sorry." I nodded. " It's okay, I'mm sorry I disrespected you. I'm just not ready for a new dad."

Yesung nodde. " I understand it's hard but I promise I won't force it on you and we can go slow." " Okay."

Yesung hesitated to say the next thing. " I'm sorry about what happened with you and your boyfriend." My eyes widened. How did he know about Woobin? " How did you know about Woobin?"

" I um... I looked through your phone and I heard what that women told you." " You looked through my phone." I said my voice raised a bit higher. " Please, please wait hold on. I was just looking out for you. I know it was wrong for me to do that and I'm sorry just please wait. I'm sorry." I looked down.

" Since you looked through my phone, well I guess I have nothing else to hide." I shifted my position and drank the last drops of tea. " I met Woobin a year ago on the streets. My mom was always out and all and well he was there. He was the one I would talk to and hang out with and yeah. I was going to move in with him when I turned 18 but that's not gonna happen anymore. And yeah that was us."

I looked down and felt tears coming down my face. Yesung came closer to me and hugged me. " It's okay I'm here for you. Don't worry Mei." Yesung said and kissed the top of my head. I nodded and pulled away. " Thank you." I put the cup on the dresser and got comfortable in bed. I didn't feel like changing out of my clothes.

Yesung got up and grabbed my cup. I walked towards the door and opened it. " Good night Mei." I smiled " goodnight Yesung."
