They were both waiting.
They were both waiting for the other to ask the other out.
For any reader, I'm sure this must be hard and annoying. I mean the only reason you're probably reading this story is for Joshler fluff or smut.
But yet, we're just waiting.
Waiting to find out who will ask who out. Or to find out whether anyone will actually eventually be asked out.
Just as Josh and Tyler are.
Josh is waiting for Tyler to pluck up the courage to ask him out, due to the fact that he does not have the courage himself.
And Tyler is waiting for Josh to gather the courage to ask him out, as he does not currently have the courage himself.
Basically, this story is a mess.
A big mess of waiting, and fourth wall breaks, and drama, and also love, of course.
