"Do you think you can deliver these real quick (y/n)?"

"Leave it to me!" A young woman handed you a large bag which probably held some more tools inside that the workers needed. You slung it over your shoulder and walked towards your destination.

The reconstruction of Heartland was going smoothly so far. After the dimensional war had ended, everyone pitched in to help rebuild your once wondrous homeland. You were also one of those people helping of course. The process was tiring and took a lot of time, but it was completely worth it.

You took a good look at the sight before you. "Ahh, it's starting to look more like the Heartland from before." You were all currently rebuilding Heartland tower as well as a few schools for the children.

"Delivery!" You dropped the bag which created a loud thud that brought the attention of all the others.

"Are you running errands today (y/n)?" Yuto said as he picked up a few nails from the bag.

"I guess so, my boss doesn't want me to do any heavy lifting." You huffed. "Honestly, I can carry stacks of wood and bricks just like the rest of these guys."

Yuto cracked a smile. "Don't fret over it (y/n), I'm sure she'll let you work with us soon enough."

"She better! Even I get bored from delivering things all day."

Yuto had a quick thought. "Do you feel like taking a break with me (y/n)?" He offered.

You immediately brightened at the suggestion. "Sure! You must be tired from working around six hours straight."

He shrugged. "It doesn't bother me too much. I take a few breaks now and then."

"What about Shay and Lulu?"

"Shay doesn't know when to stop." He sighed. "He nearly collapsed the other day."

"Heh, typical Shay."

"Lulu has been doing great with the kids but she comes home pretty worn out."

"Well that's what happens when your surrounded by children all day." You giggled.

Yuto chuckled as well and found a spot for you two to sit. Unlike before, the sky was a clear blue and the sun was shining brightly. Compared to how it was when it was first invaded, a lot has changed. Things were getting better and everyone was joyous about it. You even noticed Yuto's slight change in attitude as it was all coming back together. He was much happier than before, and he would let himself smile more openly.

"It's really nice isn't it?"

"Hmm?" Yuto looked over at you.

"Just look Yuto, look around you." You gestured to the area surrounding you two. "Even after that disaster we still managed to pull through and now look at this place. It's starting to look more like home."

Yuto looked around. A light feeling and calmness filled his chest. "It sure is."

"Soon it'll be just like old times remember." You lightly elbowed him and smirked.

He hummed a 'yes' in response. It had been a long time since you've seen Yuto after he left for Standard. He said he and Shay would return shortly after gaining some information but that didn't turn out to be true. Not only did they take forever but in the end only Shay and a few strangers returned. After a quick talk, Shay told you that Yuto had somehow dissappeared which only stressed you out even more.

"Yuto..."

"Yes?"

"What exactly did happen to you?" You turned to him. "I remember Yuya telling me about a duel, dragons, and a flash of light, but I still don't know what happened to you or how you came back."
