They make their way down the path, pushing their metal knees before them and metal elbows behind. Their heads move in unison as they talk, with the hands gestures of extras in movies. Up. Down. Up. Down. Their bodies move, synchronizing with the rhythm of the conversation.
They are 'the robots'.
'The robots' go to our school. They are in our classes and they eat their lunch in the same cafeteria. They wear trendier clothes than most and understand every slang word. They have emotions and opinions.
But they will never fit in.
