"Crap! Somethings wrong with the car!" Alex said as he checked for what was wrong. He pulled over to the side of the road, so did Trystan in the SUV.

Trystan and Alex both got out of their cars, and walked to the hood of the car, and lifted it up. A few minutes went by until I exited the car.

"Everything alright?" I asked and stuck my hands into the pockets of my jacket.

"We have a problem. The car battery is fried." Alex said as he slammed the hood shut.

I looked at the Expedition and back at the guys, "That's okay. We can all fit in the Expedition. We should hurry and get the supplies into the car."

I motioned for everyone to get out of the cars, " We have a problem with the car, so we're going to use the Expedition until we find a new car. We need to load the supplies into the car. Everyone grab a weapon. I dont want anyone dying yet." I said and started loading the stuff.

It took a while to get the stuff in, but we managed to do it. I looked around, "Where's Angela and Bristol?" I asked the guys.

"I think they went to pee." Jason said and smiled evily. I huffed loudly and grabbed my crossbow from the car.

"Why does no one tell me these things?" I mumbled as I entered the thick forest. I walked slowly, trying to not attract any attention. A twig snapped under my feet, I stopped. I waited a couple of seconds until I kept going again.

I rounded around a tree, and quickly retreated behind the tree. A zombie was feasting an not-so-fortunate deer. I looked around the tree at the zombie and loaded my crossbow. I dropped the arrows I was loading, the zombie snapped it's head towards my direction. I retreated back behind the tree, the zombie stood up and came over to me. I couldn't retrieve the arrow with out the zombie charging at me.

'Shit' I said quietly to myself. The zombie's moaning grew louder as he got closer to me. It's either do or die. I quickly grabbed the arrows, attracting the zombies attention, and I made a run for it. Of course, not in the diretion of the car, deeper into the woods. I tried to load my crossbow, but the uneven terrain was making it difficult to do anything, including running.

I entered a meadow. I looked behind me at the zombie who was getting closer to me. I turned back ahead and screamed. I skited to a halt and fell backward. As I layed on the ground I looked back at the zombie charging at me. I covered my head, as I heard an assault rifle being fired off.

I was lifted off the ground by my shoulder, and held in place. I looked at the guy holding me up, wearing dark skinny jeans, a blue v-neck, a black leather jacket and a gasmask.

"Have you been bitten?" He asked.

I couldn't find the words for some reason.

"Were you bitten?!" He yelled.

"No!" He let go of his grip on me. "Nora! You can come out now."

A woman and a younger girl came out from behind the trees both carrying M-16s over their shoulders, and approached us.

"You have to come with us." The boy took his mask off to reveal his beautiful face and blonde bedhead hair.

"I'm not going anywhere with you. I have a group to lead to safety." I crossed my arms over my chest.

"Yes you are." He grabbed my shoulder and yanked me forward.

I ripped his hand off my shoulder, "No! Im not!" I loaded my crossbow, and walked back in the direction of the car.

I could hear them walking behind me, I increased my pace. They still kept up with me. I walked even faster, until I bolted for the car. I didn't realize how far out I was, because after five minutes of running I was still in the forest. Those creeps were still chasing after me. I finally reached the road where the car wa- wait, where's the car?
