I looked over to the clock, finding that it was six in the afternoon.

Elizabeth left five hours ago to go to the infirmary after helping me somewhat calm down.

I raised up in my bed, hearing several loud knocks from the front door.

I slowly stood up and walked downstairs before opening the door.

"Hey," Rick mumbled, "they told me you live here now." He stated.

"How did you get in?" I asked.

"Barry let me in." He answered.

"What do you want?" I inquired.

"You. I need you, Sam. I know everything I've done is horrible, and I don't blame you if you don't forgive me, but I need you." He answered.

"You're just fine without me." I snapped.

"I didn't realize it until now, but you're the reason I've been sane this entire time. You've kept me sane because you gave me love; you kept me humane. I left here, went to Green Hills, and everything started falling apart. Drugs, Marcus, and being a monster took over my life." He replied, his eyes glossy.

I glanced to Elizabeth who was behind him and put a finger to her lips.

"I need you, okay? I need help. I'm tired of seeing everyone torn apart because of me. I'm not asking for you to act like everything is peaches and cream, but I'm asking you to help me." He continued.

"You need to leave." Elizabeth stated.

"I know you have a girlfriend at Green Hills. Abraham told me." I replied.

"She's nothing." He replied.

"I don't think so. He told me you two were close, very close. Close enough for you to put a fücking ring on her finger. Get her to help you." I snapped.

"You should leave before I get security." Elizabeth told Rick.

I watched as Elizabeth ran off of the porch after Rick ignored her.

"I know why you won't ask her for help. Because she's precious, right? You've already ruined me so there's not much more harm you can do to me, right? I'm worthless so it doesn't matter what happens to me. But holy shit, if you ask her to help you she'll just break and die. Don't you think that's about to happen to me? You can't keep hurting me much longer, because I am up to the fücking sky with your bullshit. You come back to me, say that you love me and you win me back. A few days later, something happens and you hurt me, and then you give it a few days of agony for me, and come back and do the same cycle continuously!" I screamed.

I wiped the flowing tears off of my cheeks, watching as Negan and Barry grabbed Rick and began pulling him off of the porch.

"Come on," Elizabeth mumbled, pulling me inside.

"I can't," I whispered, falling to my knees.

"You don't need him, Sam. That was the first step to letting go, it's okay. You're going to be okay." She replied, pulling me back up.

"Sam!" Rick yelled, running into the house once we were halfway up the stairs.

"What?" I asked, sobbing.

I screamed, watching as he put a gun to his head and pulled the trigger.

"Sam! Nothing's there!" Sam yelled, waving a hand in front of my face.

I looked again, finding that I was just hallucinating.

"Get up, come on." Elizabeth urged as I fell down on the step.
