"DYLAN" Devyn screams
I snapped out of my memories and swerve back into my lane.
"Are you okay?" She asked worried
"Yes, I'm just tired!" I say back
"Okay, nice to meet you 'tired', I'm hungry" she says with a smile
"I'll get you one day"
"You already got me" she winks
I pull up at the hotel, let's go and eat then sleep. Well that's my plan.
Devyn's POV
I'm really scared. Ever since I mentioned that photo, he's been acting weird and he won't talk to me properly. But I need to know what's wrong before I can help him.
After we get in the hotel and now sitting in front of the big flat screen tv eating pizza.
"Hey Dylan" I says nicely
"Yes Babe " he says with a mouth full of pizza
"You know you can tell me anything! Past, future or even today I'm always here for you"
"I know but I'm fine"
"Your obviously not fine! You're far from fine, fucking realise it."I yell
"Fucking leave me alone!! I'm having a bad day." He shouts
He throws the plate on the ground and shatters. Then he storms into the room and slams the door.
"Fuck my life" I say quietly
I sit on the couch watching Netflix, eating the rest of the pizza. After 10 to 15 mins I clean the glass up before I stand on it knowing my luck. Then I sit back down and continued to what I was doing before.
Dylan's POV
Thinking
What is wrong with me? Treating my girlfriend like that! She's worried about me and trying to help but I don't need help.
Anyways I should go and see what she's doing. I walk out of the room and see her laying on the couch sleeping.
I lay with her on the couch, I cuddle her tight and whisper in her ear.
"I love you so much" I whisper
She gets up, i put my arms around and she pushes me away. Then she gets up and goes into the room & I follow her, she starts packing her stuff.
"What are you doing" I ask
"I need a break from you" she yells with tears rolling down her face
"What's wrong? Is it me" I shout
"No, I just need time alone while you need time to fix yourself" she shouts back
I pull her around to face me.
"Why?" I say softly
"There's something wrong with you and you need to sort it out, okay?!" She says without losing it
She turns around and continues packing her stuff. I walk out of the room holding my head, trying to hold my tears back.
"Bye" she says
"Please don't leave! I need you" I start to cry
"I have too, if I don't you'll get worse" she starts to cry but wipes the tears away and leaves.
"But.. But.. But"
And the door slams. I breakdown.
It's quite boring without her, my eyes and head hurt from crying to much. But I guess I'm going tosleep, oh wait what's the time?
*checks time* oh only 10:30 am.
"Goodnight me" I whisper
Devyn's POV
I hope I did the right thing, leaving him alone. I catch a cab to my parents place and I'm gonna start going back to school. I need education.
*4 hours later *
I get at my parents place. I settle in and i looked for my brother.
"Hey dad, where's Josh?" I asked
"He's at his girlfriend's, he hasn't came back since you left" my dad says with a sad tone
Oh wow, I've never seen my dad talk like that before he must truly miss him.
"Where does his girlfriend live?" I ask
"I don't know, if I knew I would go there" he says
"Have you tried calling him?"
"No answer"
"Have you called the police?"
"No"
"But he's been missing for ages and he's only 14 years old"
"It's your fault for leaving! If you didn't leave, we all would be still together" he says angrily
I run to my room crying, I pack all my stuff in my room into my car. And leave.
I've been driving for 8 hours now and I need something to eat. I stop at macca's and got something to eat, I then think about Dylan and what he's doing.
