So, let's start with I Need U.
I'm doing this song first because I think the lyrics and video are definitely the deepest. I hope this analysis goes well. I am using the CC on the Youtube video, provided by Big Hit. I feel it is the most reliable translation. This is the original version, it's a little bit longer (the video) than the cut one. If you've never seen it before give it a watch and try not to cry. Some scenes are definitely emotional here. If you have seen it, give it a re-watch because I'm going to be referencing to it a lot.

Well let's dive in shall we?

The scene starts with a Piano melody, Jin in a white room wearing white clothes and holding white flower petals. The colour "white" is often represented as peaceful, or Heaven, if we want to take a little stretch. The main theory for this video, is that Jin is dead, and the six boys, (RapMon, V, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin and Jung Kook) are trying to get over his death.

The scene then cuts to J-Hope looking at his reflection in a mirror in a bathroom.

We now see Jung Kook walking down a bridge, and then see V hood up, sitting against a wall in an alleyway. He gulps as the scene moves to restless Jimin in bed, rubbing the pillow next to him as though someone is missing from his bed...

Now RapMon is shown, leaning against the wall of a Gas Station, Lollipop in mouth. A car stops and he gets off the wall then walks towards it. This probably means he's at work, and his job is to fill up cars with Oil/Petrol. There's probably a name for it, but I'm not so sure...

Jimin is in a bath, burning a piece of paper and dropping it to the floor. We don't see what this paper is but it may be lyrics or some kind of writing. As he drops the paper, the title of their album pops up and white petals fall. It looks as though it's linked to the paper falling, but the petals look awfully similar to the ones Jin holds in the beginning of the video.

Now, before the music starts, we'll analyse the first bit. In all of these scenes, the boys look in despair. We can tell by the amazing acting. None of them are happy or smiling like normal. On top of that, we have the piano playing, it's not a happy melody but a sad one.

Now, the music starts as Suga (I think) sits on a bed. The camera closes up on him. The room he's in is empty. A radiator lays to the right of his bed and the wallpaper is ripped. (This maybe paint, actually). Behind Suga, we see writing where the wallpaper has torn off, the writing is very small though, so no clues there.

Then we have the opening lyrics.
"Fall (everything) Fall (everything) Fall (everything Scattering". The phrase "Fall" then the background vocal "Everything" May suggest everything is falling to them. Then we have "Scattering". To me, it links with how the petals dropped. But it may just be to sound catchy.

Then we see a tear drop down presumably Suga's face(?) and then the scene changes to Jimin putting the tap on in the bath. The lyrics here are "Fall Fall Fall Falling Down" but the analysis is the same to what I did in the previous paragraph. I won't mention the lyrics if I don't think that particular part is important, but if you guys think so leave a comment.

Now we see Jung Kook mouthing the lyrics, a tear in his eye, his head moving against the wall.

And back to Jimin, in a bath, slanting his head back up. It goes to Suga's bedroom again, and now he has a lighter, flicking it on and off. "You're destroying me like this, I will stop I don't want you anymore". I'd say this means that the person they're talking about was severely hurting them in some way, and now they realise they do not want this person in their life anymore. I'm presuming this is a girl so we'll stick with that.

We are now back to J-Hope, who is opening a cabinet above the sink. He takes out pills, and scuffs them down. These are probably medication, and the amount he took and how he took it definitely suggests an overdose. Assuming that Jin has died, and the boys are trying to cope, these are most likely Anti-Depressants.
