"Natsu?"
"Is it really you?"she asked showing Natsu the same heart pendant
"Of course it's me,weird-ophh!"he was cut by Lucy hugging him
"I never thought I would see you again"she smiled as she broke the hug
"When did you move back?"Natsu asked
"2 months back and I got a great job as a designer"she replied
"That's great!!Have you got used to being settled around here?"Natsu asked
"Yeah,just a little bit"Lucy answered
"How's business?"Lucy asked
"Wait you know where I work?"Natsu asked surprised
"Of course I do weirdo,your'e really famous everywhere,though you don't look like the Natsu I knew"she said giggling
"Do I look handsome?"Natsu said grinning
"No,but you do look a lot cuter"she said
"Thank you and did I mention how you changed from a cute face to a beautiful one?"he said pinching her cheeks
"Come on I'm not a child anymore"Lucy pouted
"You haven't changed"he looked at her
Before Lucy could say something a phone call interrupted them
"Hello?Yes Mrs.Loyd,Ah yes I'll be right there"she said disconnecting the call
"Looks like I gotta run,I'll see you later,bye"Lucy said turning back
"Wait Lucy "Natsu called
"Hmmm"Lucy looked at him
"Can I have your number?"Natsu asked
"Oh sure!!"she said writing down some number in a paper and giving it to him
"Thanks"he said grinning
"No problem,see you later"she smiled running out of the library
"Oh kami , was this fate that I get to meet my mate after so long?"he asked himself taking out his phone
"Yeah Gray,can we meet tomorrow?I need to ask you something.Okay thanks"he switched off the phone
"Some fate huh Igneel?"he said before going back to thinking about the girl he met a while ago
