Life In Death

In a meadow stands a flower,
Strong and mighty against the blaze,
All the others - dead and crumpled,
Whilst he lay waiting for the rain.
The first drop a glimpse of hope,
The tide is quickly changing
Falling,  tearing hits the ground,
A moment of splendor,
Life is found.
