Silver Lining

A black cloud hangs over my head like a tiger waiting for the moment in which to pounce,
The cloud not allowing me to see the world as it really is,
Depression rises,
All alone.
Until the day comes where escape is possible,
And the dark cloud turns to rain,
Slowly disappears like a morning fog.
Soaring like a bird,
Free from all darkness,
The sun as a guidance to new hope,
To the place of happiness, of freedom,
There is no dark cloud,
No rain to fall.
Pressure is nothing anymore,
Weightlessness surges within,
The cloud is still there but no longer dark,
For within every cloud there is a silver lining.

Thus feeling is so sweet,
Like sower Haribos - too sower but you always want more,
Like Christmas day bringing out the child in all of us,
This is the taste of freedom, of happiness.
For within every cloud is a silver lining.

Once I saw a child with a black cloud,
Rain to fall,
So I listened to them,
Showed them I cared,
That people need them.

Once I saw a teen with a black cloud,
Rain to fall,
So I talked to them,
Reasoned,
Made them see life as it really is,
That people need them.

Cloud or no cloud someone needs you,
Rain or shine someone needs you,
Pressure or no pressure someone needs you.
Bullying dosent just happen to one person,
One age.
It could happen to anyone any time,
but your cloud is not your personality,
Sweet as sugar,
Christmas night,
Always remember,
That within every cloud there is a silver lining.

Hi people! This one I wrote about anti bullying because I was bullied at primary school and it really does stay with you. I want people to be more aware about it and help others feel good about themselves not caring about what others say! I know "easier said than done" but yea... Sorry if it was a bit depressing :)
