Emma pov

"Come on" Jude groaned unhappy

"This isn't fair" Dan added

"All fair in love and war" Laura said smirking just as we had enough points

"Release the hounds" I shouted pressing the button and the dogs were unleashed

"Noooooooo" Jude and Dan shouted has they were betrayed by their own kind

"We won again" me and Laura shouted doing another victory dance. We were all at the pack house playing call of duty. The guys said that girls couldn't play but we just showed them whose boss

"I swear you guys cheated" Dan pouted

"I didn't know gammas were allowed to be sore losers" I teased him

"They can be when the Luna beats them 5 times in video games" he mumbled making us laugh

"Seriously, how are you guys so good at this game?" Jude asked

"Emma taught me" Laura said proud

"Really?" Jude asked

"Yeah, I used to suck at these kind of games though" I told them remembering the first time I played a shooting game

"What happened?" Dan asked and I was a little depressed with the memory

"Just practiced a lot till I got better" I lied. Truth is that Asher was the one that taught me how to play when I used to go over to his place, but for the past two weeks I haven't heard anything from Asher. He doesn't show up at school, doesn't answer my text or my calls and when I showed up to his house he wasn't home. it like he dropped off the grid

"You must have practiced for hours doing this" Jude exclaimed

"You have no idea" I chuckled

"What do you guys want to do now?" Laura asked changing the subject

"We got the whole day, let's go to the beach" Jude smiled at me and I couldn't help but return it. I haven't been to the beach in forever

"Really?" I asked happily

"Yeah, but when you pick your bikini can you try and make it....you know" he asked and I chuckled

"I'll hide the goods, come on Laura" I said pulling her upstairs only when I was about to get to her floor I almost tripped and she had to catch me

"Ok that's the third time today and tenth time this week, I'm telling alpha to put in an elevator" she said determined as we walked to her room

"Yeah I think it's needed" I sighed. I fucking hate stairs

"Honestly I'm surprised that you haven't bashed your head in by now" she said going through her drawers

"I know, I know I'm a klutz no need to stress it out" I mumbled

"I'm sorry it's just I'm seriously worried that if someone isn't near you while you use the stairs somethings gonna happen" she apologized

"I'll use them more slowly ok" I sighed before checking my phone to find nothing

"Asher still not answering?" she asked me

"No I'm actually a little worried, he disappears sometimes but it's never more than a day or two" I admit

"Did you ask Rachel if she knows anything?" she asked me and I scoffed

"Rachel wouldn't know anything, she and Asher only had one date and it didn't even go well"
