Chapter 5 // You know nothing

"Omma, I'm home!" I shouted exhaustingly as I put my bag down.

Ellie ran up to me from the kitchen and I picked her up carefully. A smile drew on my face.

"Hi, pup. How are you?" I grinned while she licks my hand.

Ellie is very sweet and playful. She loves to lick everything even your bare feet.

Such a cutie.

"Hello, hun. How's school?" Omma smiled sweetly from the kitchen counter and I sighed helplessly.

"Good," I lied.

No mom. It's freaking bad day!

His face flashed before my eyes and I irritatedly went into my room.

"Yeonhee, eat first!"

"It's okay mom. I'm still full!" I yelled from my room as I changed my clothes.

I plopped down on my bed lazily, pulling my laptop out.

My friends surely waiting for my call today.

I waited for them to accept the call patiently, and seconds later I heard Glenn squealed.

I adjust my prone position on bed, as I looked at my laptop's screen exhilaratingly.

"Glenn! How are you doing?" I queried, smiling widely. "Great. Still alive! I miss you sooo much!" She screamed and I laughed.

"I miss you too, shortie. Do you know what's my school name?" I grinned and she shrugged. "What is it?"

"It's Glendale!" I squealed excitedly.

"Really? It's one of the cities here in California too, right?" She laughed and I nodded.

"You really think that's true?" I asked afterwards, raising my eyebrows.

"Huh?" I looked at her and confusion enveloped her face.

"I'm kidding you know. It's Glyndale. It just sounds like your name.. so,"

I looked at her reaction and burst out laughing seeing her giving me a middle finger.

"Where's Bradd by the way?" I asked, wiping my fake tear below my eyes from laughing.

"He's dead," Glenn rolled her eyes.

I grinned from ear to ear when I spotted Bradd sticking his face out, looking at the screen furiously.

"Glenn you're--"

He's face turned into frown when he saw me grinning.

"Danielle?! Is that you?!!" Bradd screamed and I laugh, nodding my head.

"Oh my, how are you? How's school? What happened? Where did you guys stayed?" He continuously asked and I chuckled.

"Hey, hey. Chill. Firstly, I'm doing great here. Second, school is not fine. Third, I don't know what you're talking about, and lastly, we stayed in a condominium. It's huge!" I replied and the two looked at each other, frowning.

"WHAT DO YOU MEAN SCHOOL IS NOT FINE? DID THE STUDENTS BULLIED YOU PHYSICALLY? I SERIOUSLY GOING TO KILL THEM IF I FIND OUT!" Glenn growled ferociously and I roll my eyes.

"Duhh. That's too much. I can kill them myself if they do that to me" I said and they gave me thumbs up, smiling.

"Tell us. Full details," Bradd commanded and I nod.
